About Us

  • We maintain a close practice relationship with the Diamond Sangha and our regional partner, Clear Spring Sangha, of Charlottesville, VA.
  • Our Zen Teacher is Marian Morgan, Ph.D (Clear Spring Sangha) who teaches by invitation of the late Robert Aitken Roshi, was founder of the Diamond Sangha and The Buddhist Peace Fellowship.
  • We support each other's Zen Buddhist practice and encourage those new to Buddhism or Zen Buddhism to join us for Sunday Zen Meditation or to attend a Zen Retreat with us.
  • At Sunday meetings we do meditation (zazen), Zen chanting, and a Dharma Talk with discussion.
  • What to wear: dark or plain, loose-fitting clothing.
  • What to bring: bring your own sitting cushions (if you have them).  If not, we can offer a limited number for guests.  Chairs, if needed, are available.
  • Our Zen Group meets weekly in Reading, Pennsylvania.
